Positions Available:
Senior Geologist
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Geology or Earth Sciences and have 5+ years field experience working in remote settings. Experience in mineral exploration including core logging, drill supervision and GIS applications is essential and program supervision would be preferred. Ability to work rotations out of town and a valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a P.Geo designation
Project Geologist
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Geology or Earth Sciences and have 1-3 years field experience working in remote settings. Experience in mineral exploration including core logging, drill supervision, field mapping/sampling and GIS applications would be preferred. Ability to work rotations out of town and a valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a P.Geo designation.
Geotechnician
The ideal candidate will hold a geology technician diploma and have 1-3 years field experience working in remote settings or a combination of similar education and/or work experience. Knowledge of field work techniques such as core cutting, line cutting supervision, soil sampling, claim staking, and surveying is preferred. Experience interpreting maps, working with ATVs and snow machines, using field equipment would also be a benefit. Applicants must be able to work rotations out of town and a hold a valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
